Loving the skin we’re in…

I found the art of soap making while on a personal journey of self discovery and fell in love!

After being in a headspace of having too much going on all at once, feeling like I was losing myself between being a business owner, mother, and wife. I was constantly trying to please everyone around me and leaving myself depleted. I was also in a very negative head space and found myself often at war with my own body. I finally, had a wake up call that pushed me to start filling my own cup.

I found a therapist to confide in and help project me forward, a church group to feel a sense of local community and build my spirituality. I found physical outlets to push myself to new limits and strengths I never felt before. I found soap making as a creative outlet that excited me and allowed me time to pursue something that I was genuinely interested in. I gave myself a chance to uncover the real “me” perhaps for the first time ever in my life.

I stopped battling my own body image and started seeing myself in a new light… the light of appreciation and gratitude.

What a gift to be alive in this vessel that carries us and allows us to feel, to move, to smell, to see, to touch, to create! Simple miracles we often take for granted every day. My soap is a token of love. It was made with love from a cup that is overflowing and pouring out to fill your cup too.

To me, making soap is a therapuetic art form that is fulfilling and peaceful. With each batch, I always try and think of ways to make it extra special for the person that it’s going to. My wish is that, when you use it- you take a moment to breathe in deep, and feel enormous gratitude for the skin you’re in. I create each batch with the most gentle skin loving ingredients.

I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making it for you.

with love,

Mrs. Miller xoxo
